KCEAA employs 225 full-time EMT’s, Paramedics, Nurses and support staff providing Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Service twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
We have 35 licensed ambulances operating out of 14 stations throughout the Kanawha Valley. At peak, 34 ambulances are staffed. We answer approximately 70,000 requests and transported approximately 60,000 patients. Our response time is 8 minutes 90% of the time.
