The Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority is a non-profit organization created in 1977 by the Kanawha County Commission under the Emergency Services Act of 1975.

KCEAA employs 225 full-time EMT’s, Paramedics, Nurses and support staff providing Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Service twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
We have 40 licensed ambulances operating out of 14 stations throughout the Kanawha Valley. We answer approximately 74,000 requests and transported approximately 62,000 patients. Our response time is 8 minutes 90% of the time.
