Our MISSION is to provide professional health care and support services while maintaining a standard of excellence.
KCEAA employs 225 full-time EMT’s, Paramedics, Nurses and support staff providing Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical Service twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority received more than 69,000 calls for service in 2010 with over 63,000 patients transported. We have 37 ambulances waiting at 14 stations across Kanawha County to quickly respond to the medical emergencies in our area. Three of these vehicles are fully equipped critical care units and we operate 10 multi-passenger wheelchair vans daily.
KCEAA response time is 8 minutes 90% of the time.
